
Health & Safety
Triton Builders operate a Health and Safety policy dedicated to our staff, customers and the general public. Our capabilities include the implementation of Method Statement and Risk Assessments in line with the CHSW Regulations 1996, where required, to ensure strict safety procedures whilst carrying out our work. All staff are continuously trained in Health and Safety and qualified with CSCS cards.
Statement of general policy
Our company operates a Health and Safety Policy dedicated to the Health and Safety of our staff, contractors, customers and general public and is committed:
• To ensure the Health and Safety of its employees, contractors, customers and the general public, arising from our work activities.
• Liaise with our employees and clients on matters of health and Safety, identifying risks that may arise during the execution of our work activities.
• Provide and maintain a safe system of work.
• Monitor and control the handling and use of hazardous substances.
• Provide adequate training, instruction and supervision for all employees.
• Ensure that ALL employees are competent for the tasks at hand.
• Prevent accidents and work related ill health, caused during the execution of our work activities.
• Provide a safe healthy working environment for all our employees and those around them.
• Review our Health and Safety Policy as required and adjust to suit the changing working environments encountered.
The operation of this policy will be monitored by the management and staff of Triton Builders, and will as necessary establish an organisational structure to maintain the Health and Safety of all operatives and sub contractors.
All employees and sub contractors are expected to co ordinate with the Company’s Health and Safety Co-ordinator in carrying out this policy and must ensure their own work as far as reasonably practicable is carried out without risk to themselves or others.
It is our objective in achieving our goal of zero accidents by complying with the following regulations:

• Provision and use of Equipment Regulations 1998
• Work Place (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992
• Personal Protective Equipment Regulations 1992
• Construction (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1996
